That nonsense post about tetrachromatism is going around again. Here’s a link to a “why that post is nonsense” essay someone posted two years ago as my tiny, futile effort to stop it!

Yo! Betta! I made something. It’s a RatchOptiSound cuddlepuddle with extra floofy dogs. Optimus is a happy old man and dearly loves his QPPs. Soundwave is wearing Optimus’s Bomber Jacket with all sorts of patches on it and Ratchet’s shirt. Laserbeak is probably poking her head in through the ceiling and debating whether to snap blackmail photos or come down and join them or both. Ratchet is completely dead to the world.

Sexuality/Romantic headcanons for Soundwave? I personally headcanon him as asexual spectrum and demi/grayromantic, and I was curious to see how our headcanons compared.

That’s pretty close to mine, actually, especially the romance bit. 

As for sexuality, I feel like he’s somewhere on the ace spectrum, but it’s a slightly odd portion. Like- he doesn’t tend to be sexually attracted to people, period, /but/ he can get himself a bit worked up thinking about what he could do with someone, and he’s open to interface with someone he trusts. There’s just little to no physical interest without his thoughts about the potential to start it off.

After reading about a young girl killing herself in the same way the main character of 13 Reasons did, I DEFINITELY don’t ever want to hear “fiction doesn’t affect reality” ever again. Ever.

To add on, the worst part about all this is that it’s not the first time someone has killed themselves because of 13rw. On top of that, these fucking directors were TOLD not to do certain things, show certain things so as to not yield these results, trigger people, etc.

But nope! Had to do it for views + shock value. Hell, the suicide doesn’t even match the book’s original one (for those who don’t know, she overdosed, not cut herself). That deeply shows how little the people who ran that shitshow series cared about their specific instructions, their viewers, and the actual topic of teen suicide.

Fuck this show. I can’t believe it’s getting a second season when a show like The Get Down got fucking cancelled.

A Steven Universe thought

Rose Quartz has been shown to be able to create life, right? What with the plant growing and all.

There’s a theory that all the Rose Quartzes were going to be keepers for the Human Zoo. I think it’s a really good theory.

I’m also starting to think that it’s exactly why Steven, who is somehow half human and half actual-rock-with-a-hardlight-body, can exist. Something to do with those abilities.
