The Horse Heaven Hills, near Prosser Washington, get lots of fog. It’s been a week or more since the sun was last seen (assuming it’s still out there) and the ice from the fog is really building up.

So I live in Texas, and we get hail sometimes. It’s usually pea-sized or so. This batch was not. About 70 seconds straight of this.

The sound is very loud and resembles someone popping bubble wrap at high speeds while several children with sticks bang on a tin roof. Basically a miniature tornado. These can be over dust or over water, and they’re usually pretty small. Harmless enough, the worst they’ll do is fling dirt and sticks at you.

you see shit like this and just realize like… no wonder the entire civilized world believed in magic and shit so strongly. im spiritual myself but if you didnt have the scientific framework, the concept of magic is equally explanatory… the earth shows us crazy shit each and every day
