Even though he’s already found a mate and is being held 3 feet in the air, this male red-spotted toad [Anaxyrus punctatus] continues to advertise to females. Footage taken in Nevada.
Myself and a friend of mine ( @alligatorpig ) found a heterochromatic toad yesterday! It was a small American Toad (Anaxyrus americanus), and had one gold eye and one very dark eye with a muted gold iris.
