Gluten allergy/intolerance: long term intestinal damage and potential other issues like nerve damage

Lactose intolerance (and other intolerances): uncomfortable and not best to continually trigger, but not especially harmful. 

Basically: 

“It’ll kill/hospitalize me” 

“It’ll semi-permanently damage me” 

“stomach’s gonna hate me but WORTH IT”
