I want this as an aquarium. Not even for the coffin thing, that’s just a great shape and size. Put a big piece of driftwood in, with a wide, branching, preferably root-y end in the wide part and a long projection towards the narrow bit, and it’d look amazing. Discus might look nice but are too tricky for me. Native fish, maybe?

Or go with the death thing and keep, say, ghost catfish, longfin black skirt tetras (they look like veils), and I’m sure a few other possibilities of X-ray-lookin’ fish and spooky shadowy bois. Put an entire skeleton (though maybe not a human one, not sure about realism) in there.

Ideas for a social media/artistry site:

Everything you’ve posted shows up on your “all posts” list. If someone goes to your blog and clicks “folders”, they can see all the folders you’ve made. There’s an option in settings that lets you add something automatically to the proper folder if you tag it. There are also sub-folders. For example, I could have a folder labeled “OCs” and then sub-folders like “Blackspark” and “Gravescratch”. Two default folders are “Original posts” and “reblogs”.

There’s a way to search for untagged posts on your blog.

Two little tabs show up to the side of your dashboard- “blogs you might like” and “posts you might like”. They only show things if you open them on purpose.

Posts can be liked twice. Once turns the star button blue, twice turns it gold.

There’s a point system, but a simple one. You get a star (point) for each like that you get. You can make 2 posts a day for free, then after that, each post costs a star to make. After a reasonably large number of posts, it’s 2 stars. You can also buy things (themes, icons, etc) in a little virtual star shop, trade them to other members, or hold raffles.

Stars can’t be purchased for money. If you need more and aren’t getting enough likes, go interact with the community. You get a star for every 10 likes you give, and you get a star for each post that you reblog with at least one tag attached.

Comments on posts can be liked, and leaving a comment on a post that gets liked by the OP earns you two stars.

You can have multiple sideblogs, and your stars from each blog all go into a single pool on your account.

There might be a cute little bedroom/workspace virtual room that you can decorate from the star shop, or some sort of aquarium to fill with star shop fish. Maybe a zoo. Cute things that don’t really affect the functionality of the site, they’re just for customizing your space.

A basic blog color palate, a few default icons/icon shapes, and the ability to upload icon/background pics come free, and more advanced colors can be purchased easily enough. All items directly related to blog design are inexpensive, you’d just need to reblog some things. The only expensive things would be rare decor/fish items for the above-mentioned stuff.

The idea is that people would be encouraged to contribute to the community, but not forced. Posts not getting many likes? That’s OK, just go like and reblog a few things out of the suggestion tabs. Heck, like and reblog some random stuff, it gets exposure for the OP.

If you try to post something and don’t have the stars to do it, your post is auto-saved with all content, including tags. There’s a way to save drafts of posts for later, as well.

Content must be tagged appropriately. There’s an option in settings to automatically tag everything you post, reblog, or both with certain tags, with the possibility of removing said tags from individual posts. Content not appropriately tagged can be flagged for review, and will be tagged if needed, plus a warning will be issued. Enough warnings and you’re out.

Hate speech, bigotry, harassment, and pedophilia (incl. support of all) are not allowed. Blogs get 1 warning per illegal post, said posts will be removed, and the 3rd post gets the blog permanently banned. This is on a case-by-case basis, and some actions may warrant an immediate ban.

Content endorsing self-harm or any sort of eating disorder is not allowed, however posts discussing how to overcome those things are absolutely allowed.

You start out with two “trophy case” squares on your blog, and can buy more with stars. One can be filled with a post of your own that you want to show off, the other is for another person’s posts that you want to show. Keeping another person’s posts in your trophy cases earns you stars if those posts get more likes/reblogs thanks to you. You can buy either personal cases, other-people cases, or either/or cases in the star shop.
