Two federal immigration agencies worked together in a coordinated effort to set deportation traps for unsuspecting immigrants seeking legal status, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) alleged in a lawsuit against the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen this week.

According to the Boston Globe, the two agencies arranged meetings for the undocumented immigrants at government offices, where they were subsequently arrested, and in some cases deported.

Recommended article, because they don’t want the public to “catch on” to what they are doing.

“According to e-mails obtained by the Globe between Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents and employees of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), ICE asked government officials to space out the meetings so that the public wouldn’t catch on and draw ‘negative media interests.‘”

So many people are suffering under this Republicon-controlled government, while so few–specifically, only the 1%–are doing well.

This isn’t the first time ICE has detained people in public places they are supposed to feel safe in.

ICE arrested and raided a few men right across the street from their CHURCH

A 26 year old woman with a brain tumor was arrested at the hospital and was taken to a detention center immediately. She collapsed as soon as she got there.

A man was arrested by ICE after dropping his daughter off from school

A 22 year old woman of 2 children got arrested at her own home despite her legal status. She was put in jail and they plan on deporting her.

An immigrant teen was arrested right before his graduation.

These immigrants victims have one thing in common– they’re immigrants of color. You don’t see ICE doing any of this racist bullshit towards white immigrants. Keep in mind all of these people have clean records. ICE agents see black/brown skin and automatically assume they’re a threat. It’s sad how some immigrants aren’t allowed to live their normal lives because they fear high authority scumbags like this. Anyone who defends this shit has no sense of humanity. None.
