Just heard that puerto rico is so much worse than what i’ve seen on the news.

you know how trees are good and provide fresh air and shade? And how it gets really hot in the tropics?

Maria destroyed like 80% of the trees in Puerto Rico, leaving them leafless. some got uprooted

also, you know how mosquitos can carry diseases and they reproduce by laying eggs in stagnant water? 

turns out there are tons upon tons of bodies of stagnant water in PR sooooooo that means more mosquitos more diseases, like dengue basically, a fucking plague.

AND theres still no running water and no electricity for most.

And there is no food, no water, and barely cell phone reception. Schools, houses, and tons of infrastructure are totally destroyed.

Babies and everyone in the ICU have died, people in their houses are dying and their families have to dig graves in their backyards because the streets are so damage they cannot leave their houses. Is so bad to the point hospitals are closing because the morgues are so full people can’t stand the smell. (But, hey, our governor said there are only 16 deaths!)

Today is day 17th and there is so little improvement and people are very hungry!
