A very nice Mexican treefrog [Smilisca baudinii] stuck on the photographer’s glass door in Nicaragua. These tree frogs average at about 3 inches from snout to rump, and are recognized by their loud, nasally call of “heck-heck-heck-heck-heck!” You can hear it below: Image by Ron Warner.
These superbly round frogs are holy cross frogs [also known as crucifix toads, Notaden bennettii] Named for the cross-shaped pattern on their backs, these Australian natives have a loud wooping call, and the ability to ooze a tacky glue-like substance when provoked. Images by Peter Soltys.

The best part is these frogs would be too little for the tiger to see them as food but anything big enough to eat the frogs would probably catch its attention. Smart little froges ride the big kitty boat
