Beep beep, Mozambique rain frog [Breviceps mossambictus] passing on your left. Like many rain frogs, these frogs have gradually lost the ability to hop, choosing instead to speed-walk wherever they need to go.

This odd little frog is a Thompson’s toothless frog [Genyophryne thomsoni], a common species endemic to Papua New Guinea. As of now it’s believed to be the only member of its genus Genyophryne, but researchers acknowledge that its population may be comprised of several different species waiting to be differentiated. It’s a forest dweller noted for its rusty coloring and flat wide head, likely meant to imitate a leaf. Image by Fieldherpforum.com user Ritt.
Licking Stuff!

The tedious process of trying to move a baby pac man frog [also known as Cranwell’s horned frog, Ceratophrys cranwelli] to a new enclosure. I’m guessing he probably hopped right out of his owner’s hands while they were trying to make the transfer, and that’s how he ended up on the floor. While each frog has their own personality, these frogs tend to be exceptionally cagey and impulsive- and it certainly doesn’t help that these frogs are among the few that actually have teeth.
Volume on for demonic frog snarls.
A mealworm wiggled out of my grasp and when I went to pick it up, Ziggy POUNCED and aggressively attempted to swallow my finger. He’s mistaken me for food before, but never so TENACIOUSLY. I am deeply uncomfortable and never want to experience this again, thanks.
Maybe you tasted like mealworms at the time.
Or maybe he’s realized your true nature as a giant swarm of various invertebrates and was trying to pull one off to eat.
