This article is a bunch of numbers and data and it doesn’t really paint a very vivid picture of the problem.
So here’s an example that I assure you is 100% real.
My dad works on boats. Not in any capacity that makes a lot of money (he basically inspects their fire systems), but he gets to set foot on the luxury yachts of the most mindblowingly wealthy people on earth. People who have so much money they have to invent new and absurd ways to even spend it. People who barely work for a living because they have so much goddamn money they spend most of their lives in perpetual vacation having other people manage anything of importance while their “bootstraps” are nowhere to be found.
And I don’t mean 30-60 foot fishing boats, I mean the REAL luxury yachts, for which 150 feet counts as a smaller size. It’s fairly common for them to be around 180ish feet, more rarely as much as 200. Boats personally owned by individual people that have helicopter landing pads (plural) and more. These are floating super mansions that these people own for fun.
Most of them are huge, incompetent assholes who wouldn’t last a day in the rest of the world without people sucking up to them because of their money.
But this is about what one guy, one STUPIDLY RICH jackass, has come up with as a way to spend a tiny fraction of his money.
Persian rugs are like, the stereotype of a priceless artifact that is impossible to replace. Anywhere you see one on display there is enormous care taken not to damage them or to allow people to touch them. Some of them are well over a thousand years old, and while it’s possible for modern textiles to produce similar designs, the real ones are fragile, in limited supply, impossible to replace, and very expensive.
Every couple of years this guy buys one, has it cut into the correct shape, and gets it installed as carpeting – to be walked on – in one room on his yacht. After it wears out it gets stripped off the floor and thrown away, and he buys a new one.
Priceless, irreplaceable artifacts that cost millions of dollars each are disposable, temporary carpeting for these people. And this is not the richest person my dad has ever worked for. Nor is his the biggest or most expensive boat.
One of them has a yacht with a huge, multimillion-dollar setup on the back for his personal luxury submarine.
The ultra-wealthy are too goddamn rich. WAY beyond even what people who think they know what rich looks like would ever imagine.

1. The ability to screenshot isn’t illegal. Your rights end where someone else’s begin, and when someone else’s ability to live safely and comfortably is infringed upon by your right to privacy, yes they have a right to share that info.
2. Flirting IS preying when it’s towards a minor. Your age alone is an ability to manipulate young people into saying yes by adapting an authoritative tone. You are purposefully targeting young people, even though biologically that fucks the young person up and psychologically you’re causing them to learn patterns of intense hypersexuality and young people are more easily manipulated into consent and the huge age gap can cause serious trauma. That’s a scientifically proven fact.
3. If you have the opportunity to ask how someone knows what flirting isn’t because you think they’re too young to have any relationship experience, YOU’RE DOING SOMETHING WRONG.
Please spread this like wildfire. All of the minors on my page: people who speak to you like this are PREDATORS. They don’t love you. The attention they give you is dangerous, they’re doing it to try to coerce you into sexual acts you don’t want to do. Men like this are trying to harm and abuse and trap – they know what they’re doing will scar, hurt, and worse to you, and they enjoy that.
They often shame their victims into silence by convincing them no one will believe them, that this is private and okay. It’s NOT okay. Don’t let them convince you that it’s ‘private’ – they know that if you tell others, they will be outed for the disgusting, criminal, monstrous pieces of shit that they are. Be loud. Screencap. Tell people. Report them. Put these bastards on blast.

Asking “what’s sexual about this” is almost insidous. Sure, she’s not naked and she’s not performing any sexual acts, but that’s not what sexualization necessarily means. The girl-child is looking longinly,

She is passive, for the camera/viewer, while the boy is active, joking, playing, relaxed and as a child, respected as a child. A Glasgow nightclub has installed a two-way mirror which allows male revellers in private booths to spy on unsuspecting women as they visit the toilet! With no notification or signage anywhere in the venue many female club goers have been left feeling embarrassed and used. Although they do briefly show the mirrors in a promo video, the club has been quickly deleting comments and posts on their social media from club goers trying to alert others to the situation. A two way mirror must be set INTO the wall, not placed on top of it.
If you rap/knock against the mirror, one installed onto a wall (a normal mirror) will make a dull sound, because there’s something behind it. A two-way will have more reverberation.
Use the flashlight on your phone to shine on the mirror, if it’s a two-way, you’ll be able to see into the other room.
You can also shield your eyes and see in if you lean up against the glass.
The room being viewed will have to be brightly lit (10x brighter than the room looking in), so if you’re in a typical dimly lit club bathroom, you’re ok.
