Доброе утро!

Good morning!

You have nothing to offer! Leave them alone!

These are squat lobsters. They are not technically lobsters but are called that because common names are silly. Like many aquatic animals, they don’t have any innate fear of humans, only of large shapes and quick motions. This is how you interact properly with harmless invertebrates- you put yourself in a position where they can approach, and, once they touch you, you can touch back.

Okay, the anon’s message first: I’m not big into humanformers and therefore, I haven’t put much thought into what the robots would look like as humans in my head, but with the scenario you described, I think I’d kinda love the idea of Bee, still being rather short in comparison to Blitzwing, trying to shove him against a wall in a sudden burst of passion, but having his hands meet an absolutely unmoving body, and after a few futile attempts at shoving the guy at least a few inches forward, Bee just kinda awkwardly backs up and closes the door without saying a word, with Blitzwing just silently watching him, utterly unimpressed. Now I do kinda want to draw that…

However, and I know this isn’t what you suggested and I’m sorry for that, the “robots probably don’t shower”-thing made me think that maybe they go to a car wash, and the idea of a smaller Transformer like Tailgate showering this way is killing me.I want a Tailgate in a car wash with a towel, damn it!

@morethanmeetstheass i love the idea of bots in carwashes

that is hilarious!

@why-animals-do-the-thing is this owl actually happy?

Multiple people with professional bird experience that I’ve spoken with believe so! One noted that a some birds get so “into the scritch” that at times they will lose their balance or cease being aware of their surroundings (as you can see in this video) but that we don’t really know why. It looks like this owl was having a super good scratch, ended up leaning a little farther back that the human was in a good position to support, lost his balance, and recovered. It’s all good and yes, actually cute.

(It’s worth noting, of course, that this is an interaction that can only occur because the person has a strong history with the owl and a lot of previously developed trust. This isn’t something you should ever consider doing with an owl you don’t know and haven’t been trained to work with.)

I was watching Transformers Prime again and I kept noticing how Soundwave would project live security footage or computer screens on his mask and people (mostly Megatron) would just stare into his mask and watch. It got me thinking: do you think he’s ever tried to show something to someone something, but the image was too small and too far away, so they grabbed the sides of his face and tilted it so they could see better? Maybe someone pulls him down a bit because they’re short, or a tall person gently tilts his chin up, or someone gets literally in his face because they can’t see the tiny details otherwise?

(How awkward would that be, especially if he has a face behind the mask and can see them through the projection?)

I couldn’t help myself…Soundwave is so much fun to draw!!!
