Once again, warm berth in a safe place means he is very much out. Especially since he is warm and snuggled up into a heap of blankets.

Wait. Okay, this thing is warm and fairly pleasant, but… large. Hello? 

Vaguely concerned, Gravescratch lifts his helm slightly and opens his optics. Or… some of them. Sort of. He can’t quite fix his optics on anything in particular, unfortunately. Or his antennae. His alarm (which can barely even be called ‘alarm’) isn’t anywhere near enough to force the sensory processing portions of his processor to online enough to comprehend the data coming from his assorted network of optics and antennae. 

So he pushes himself up with one arm, chirps a little “???” noise at whoever this is in a request for the hopefully friendly being in his berth to please identify themselves, and pushes his face into whatever part of them is closest to him. And, upon locating exactly where some part of this person is, he sticks out most of his tongue and licks them. 

Mm. They taste rather nice, actually. 

And… definitely strong.

That’s basically his only thought- who are you??? with an undercurrent of how did you get into my berth or is this even my berth??? on the back-burner for now.

He’s… fairly sure there are multiple life-signs here. 

So he tries to ask who the Pit this is.

1. When did you lose your virginity?

 Wow getting right into the nitty gritty. Well since inquiring minds want to know, I lost my v-card in basic training. Now let me preface this story by saying basic training was great when it came to teaching you to be a soldier, however that’s all they taught you. Ya, no sex ed at all. So imagine the surprise on our faces when a group of other cadets and I overheard our superior officers swapping interface stories. We had no idea what they were talking about, but we were curious as pit about it. Well we were curious about everything back then, but that’s beside the point. So we decide we’re gonna look things up on own and teach ourselves, mostly because our superiors were getting sick of our constant questions and no one wanted to risk pissing them off. There wasn’t a lot of information on the base’s databank, but we found enough to make us interested in doing our own experimentation.

Now depending on your definition of virginity I either lost mine the day after we did our own bit of research or about a week after that. Since the day after another cadet and I clumsily petted at each other until we got off. We had no idea what we were doing, it was just one clumsy, awkward event. Barely worth the trouble really. But a week after that my bunkmate and I actually bumped arrays. He’d been trying things out with other cadets in our group more than I had so he offered to show me what he’d learned, and boy did he. Bent me over my bunk and gave me a real good lesson. Ya basic training was a place of firsts. Thinking  back to it now, facing in the barracks where like 20 other bots lived, give or take, is probably where the exhibitionist tendencies came from.

2. Rough sex or soft sex? 

Both are good, but I think rough wins it by a bit. There’s just something so satisfying about being able to feel it the next day after a good, hard frag. I will admit that there are sometimes, when I’m still a bit sore, that I’ll excuse myself to hide in a closet or something to just grind my hand against my array to get off and make the ache last longer. It’s a pleasant reminder.

22. Do you/would you use sex toys?

You bet ya. Since work is so busy I don’t really have time to look for partners as often as I’d like, so sometimes I gotta take care of business myself. That and sometimes you just feel like keeping yourself company for the night. I’ve got six toys in total, three of which are dildos of varying sizes. The smallest was my first toy ever that still gets the job done just fine, the second one is a bit bigger, it vibrates and has ridges so it’s definitely more intense, then the final one is real big for when I want to feel nice and stretched. I’ve also got a little bullet vibrator that’s surprisingly strong for its size and a flesh light for when I want to use my spike. The last toy is actually a bit of a new purchase. I haven’t used it yet, but it’s, um, you know, it’s ah, anal beads. I’m a little curious about that sort of thing, but I lose my nerve and put them away before using them

This box is much heavier than the previous one. 

Which isn’t surprising, considering the large-for-humans piece of machinery inside. Gravescratch turns the heavy piece over for a few minutes, attempting to figure it out and popping a few plates off in the process, and finally puts it down and absentmindedly spins the internal drum with one primary servo as he continues. He’s fairly sure this is some sort of washer- it seems to have tubes attached for some sort of input, probably a liquid. Might actually be useful. 

The tiny scrap of machinery is more difficult to examine, but it plays music when he accidentally presses a button. He has to poke at the buttons for a bit longer to figure out how to make it stop, but when it finally goes silent, he subspaces it for later. Maybe he’ll keep the music, but he can definitely use the tiny wires inside. 

The bits of paper are far too small for him to get much flavor out of, but a taste of a couple sheets reveal that they’ll definitely burn, so he sets the rest aside for if he needs them.

He’s not sure what the tiny container full of a long strand of sticky stuff is, but the infernal thing gets itself very firmly tangled into the workings of one servo as he tries to figure it out. Antennae locked back against his helm, he shakes his servo a couple of times in an effort to get it out, entirely fails, and then has to spend a little while plucking at the stuff. It doesn’t want to get out, and it breaks too easily to get a good hold of it, so he spends more than a few kliks muttering to himself and licking at the stuff (which doesn’t taste nice) until it dissolves and he can use his servo without it tugging. 

The little disk of what appears to be ceramic might actually be useful, so it goes in with the rest of the tiny mechanical spare parts. He can use an insulator. 

The colorful sticks confuse him for a bit, so he ends up tasting one to find out what they are. They are not very tasty, but chalk -even chalk with additives- can be useful in chemistry. Even if this is just a tiny bit.

The monitor is interesting, and large enough to be useful, but it’s clearly going to need an adapter and probably a few new wires. Gravescratch picks at the plastic trim for a moment, debating whether or not it might be edible, then sets it aside for later dissection. Truthfully, it is all edible, the question is more “is this thing worth more as parts than as nutrients” than “can I eat this”.

He doesn’t recognize the bit of plant life, but it’s large enough to be tangible and isn’t actively corroding his servo as he holds it, so of course it’s a snack now. And it’s actually dense enough to crunch as he bites into it, which is great. Even if it is a bit bitter. 

The box is much too fragile to hold anything and isn’t thick enough to be useful as padding, so Gravescratch pulls it apart into a few pieces, turns them over a couple of times to feel the textures, and then chomps on them. They taste a bit like wood, but much softer. It’s actually a neat texture. 

One of the three tiny bits of stuff is used in construction, another is a ring of keys clearly intended for tiny locks, and the third is something jangly. They’re all too small to provide any tangible taste or texture if he eats them, so they get tossed into the jar of tiny parts that are also more or less useless but might be meltable once he’s collected enough. 

Now, is the crate itself edible?
