Horror Musical Instrument
cut to me, playing my horror instrument at 4 am; my downstairs neighbors bang relentlessly at their ceiling with a broom stick, trying to stop me from summoning witches
This literally sounds like every 20th century avant garde “fuck a key signature” piece.
I love that a dude spent time making this cumbersome hunk of metal that is in no way easy to play and woukd be nigh impossible to ever get a clean recording of, just to replicate a couple layers of filtering and instrument manipulation
this is a
Pachliopta kotzebuea butterfly, she’s so black the light won’t even bounce off her wings, that’s why she looks like a butterfly-shaped black hole on camera 🙂
I took a panoramic photo at a concert and lights changed in the middle of it. This is the result
this literally looks like heaven and hell colliding
Innovation at it’s best (cute art)
[Video of some seriously impressive paper engineering. No sound.]
I did something with legs! Here’s a custom Argentine black and white Tegu pendant, thanks Haleigh!
I had some tiny rodent bones that I removed from owl pellets, thought I should make something with the smallest of them. ForgottenBoneyard.com

Can we get a name???
This is Chinese artist, Luo Li Rong
Here’s a snippet about her from this article (that also features more photographs of her work, including this sculpture):
Rong has pursued sculpting since an early age. She studied art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, then under the tutelage of sculptor Wang Du, and later she “immersed herself” in figurative sculpture techniques used by European artists in the Renaissance and Baroque periods. Their sense of femininity plays a defining role in Rong’s contemporary works, and the stylistic guidelines help carry on the tradition of realistic sculptures in art.
