I have projects to work on that aren’t femme gladiator Megatron but at the same time BOY I want her to storm into those other projects and start sweeping people off their feet.
OLD SESSHOUN ART. I combed through my old photobucket for these. It was unpleasant, photobucket is a mess.
BUT there’s a lot of interesting ideas and concepts to recycle and update and rewrite as far as the Sesshoun are concerned! There’s lil notes as the captions, but otherwise a lot of the basics are there. Their design jumps around a lot in early art.
Fantasy Race of plant people, based off succulents. They need sunlight regularly or they suffer from exhaustion, and when they’re exposed to enough moisture they grow magnificent flowers. If pollinated, they grow a pod that can be detached and planted to grow a baby, who’ll eventually sprout legs and pop out of the ground.
Their teeth look feirce but they’re actually just soft plant things, like Venus flytraps. They can’t chew.
I chose…BUMBLEBEE in CRPH bc they’re bestest friends and would absolutely have a baby together given the chance, and then immediately panic because OH NO WE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO WITH THIS.
Name: Firebug
Gender: Femme???? Sometimes neutral, Firebug does what Firebug does.
General Appearance:
Personality: I don’t know what anyone expected out of these two, but it’s 100% the distillation of pure positive energy! Firebug is sweet to her friends and family, hot-tempered to her enemies, loud to all, and has little sense of personal space or their own small size, leading them to happily pick fights with others distinctly out of their class. Or to start flirting with them.
Special Talents: Firebug can’t spontaneously combust like Hot Rod can, but that doesn’t mean they can’t run hot, hot hot! Firebug can heat their surface temperature up to the point where most mechanisms will burn their servos touching them, and can belch up small amounts of flame and superheated air! It just…takes a lot out of them, and they need to curl up for a nap afterwards.
Who they like better: They can’t possibly decide! But Bee definitely is better at hugs, so…take that, Hot Rod.
Who they take after more: Hot Rod. Much to the stress of Hot Rod.
Personal Head canon: Firebug’s favorite method of attack is to climb onto larger bots and launch themself off of their shoulders! GO FOR THE FACE!
Megatron: Listen, if I need to dispell my charge that bad, I’ll just seduce the least threatening of all these Autobots. It might not be a lot of fun, but it’ll do the trick and I won’t have to worry about any surprises.

I keep looking at this and all I can think of is Bumblebee’s voice going “This is Megatron. He’s sad.” and Megatron softly grumbling because, I mean, he’s not wrong.

The first thing that registered to Megatron’s static-laden senses as he came back to fully online status was that everything hurt. A persistent, full-body prickling, aching sensation- the residue of stunning energy, which explained why…well, nothing seemed to be working right now.
