dantecain:

My two favourite tropes are

– character gets thrown/falls an incredibly long way and lands accompanied by a crash and car alarm with an ‘I’m okay!’ Or deadpan ‘ow.’

– character falls down an increasingly painful path but you only see the other characters reacting to it

Someone who drowns in 7 feet of water is just as dead as someone who drowns in 20 feet of water. Stop comparing traumas, stop belittling your or anyone else’s trauma because it wasn’t “as bad” as someone else’s. This isn’t a competition, we all deserve support and recovery.

Transformers Prime: Everyone’s a goddamn baby bean protoform edition

All the humans: Suddenly baby sitters

Optimus: Very sleepy baby boy. Is always the one to split up fights.
Bumblebee: Loud boy. Clings on Optimus all the time.
Ratchet: Naturally nurturing, has not developed his grumpiness yet.
Arcee: Lone wolf, but very sweet to those she allows to get close.
Bulkhead: Rowdy boy! Miko often goes “No Bulkhead!”
Smokescreen:
All over the place, please settle down wild babby boy

Wheeljack:
Also a rowdy boy! Him and Bulkhead likes to nap near (or on) Miko.
Ultra Magnus: Keeps close to Optimus, often only observes the others. Not prone to cuddling.
Cliffjumper: Likes tagging along with Arcee. Some times tags along with the rowdy boys.

Megatron: Very bossy, but also very snuggly. Will fight Optimus for snacks.
Starscream: Is somehow always found in places he shouldn’t be able to reach. Also louder than Bumblebee. Somehow.
Soundwave: Very calm. Already got his tentacles, which he uses to toy around with tiny objects. Rather keeps to himself but doesn’t shun from company.
Shockwave: He’s a calm boy too. Is often found with Ratchet for some reason.
Knockout: He was born cocky and shiny. Often watches his own reflection in well, literally anything with a reflection. Prone to cling on Starscream or Breakdown.
Breakdown: Likes to follow Knockout around. Some times joins the rowdy boys ™.
Dreadwing & Skyquake: It’s impossible to keep these two apart. They are also surprisingly fast and always up to no good.
Predaking: LORGE BABY BOY. Very playful, also very gentle.

I love that phenomenon where ur talking to another neurodivergent person for the first time and u haven’t quite grocked their flavor of brain yet and they haven’t grocked yours and you’re both using your Acceptable Friendly Person Getting To Know You Script on each other but of course those scripts have been calibrated mainly for use with, like, normal people, so you just end up being like two conversational roombas bonking gently off one another like “hello fellow human” “hello fellow ‘hello fellow human’” until you both at some point manage to adjust your programming and actually like, communicate

It’s like when I was a kid I had two furbies and when you put them next to each other they’d just natter nonsensically past one another for a bit and then at some point one would abruptly recognize the other with its furby sensor or w/e and it would shout “DANCE!” and the other one would flap its ears and reply “HEY, DANCE” and then, in perfect unison, they would begin to rock back and forth while chanting “doot doot doo doot doot doo”

It’s exactly like that. I love it. Crazy people are the best, we are super excellent, i love us, i love crazy ppl

I wrote this post in my head while having a major dissociative episode in the bathroom and its the best and truest thing Ive ever said

@only-in-movies it’s us. I think that’s literally something that happened the first time we met. Although it might have been more of a shimmy than a dance.
