Give me a story where Qui-gon survives, but at the cost of Obi-wan losing an arm and his legs. A mirror image to the loss Vader suffers.
Let me see all that physical pain and adaption that Lucas loves to put into his villains turned into something light and amazing.
Let Anakin see the Jediâs hypocrisy when they cast Obi-Wan out because heâs angry and in pain and they say he canât access the living force anymore. When Obi-Wan always favored the unifying force anyway.
Let him ask why they fear heâll go dark and see the parallels to slaver âmercyâ when they free slaves too weak or injured to work because it isnât worth paying slave tax on them and you have to pay a fine if you kill off your slaves in order to dodge taxes.
Because the Jedi donât have money or things. When he gets cast out all Obi-Wan will have are the robes on his back, a lifetime of fighting skills, and mounting debt as he tries to get prosthetics and pain management.
All Jedi who leave the order go grey or dark is a self fulfilling prophecy when you toss them out without trade skills or money.
Let me see a Anakin who picks a path with Obi-Wan still. Two gray force users. Making a life for themselves of the fringe of society, freeing slaves, learning to force heal and build prosthetics. All with the queens of Naboo and Mandalores quiet and unofficial backing. Dodging Jedi and Sith interference at every turn.
Until one day they stumble on a planet in the middle of nowhere and are shown thousands of slave children waiting to be sent to die for the Republic and the Jedi they are trained to serve.
They steal them away a little at a time. Covert opps they tell anyone that asks. And when they check the boys for slave chips and oh do they find them.
Palpatine doesnât even know his plans have gone astray until it explodes all over the net that a thousand fighters have appeared out of no where to destroy the Hutt empire. All the slaves are free and any system wanting to break from republic rule are free to petition to join the new alliance. Naboo and Mandalore are some of the first to join.
There are all the clones he had planned to use against the Jedi along with the chosen one and his mentor who have remained annoyingly too hidden for Palpatine to gain control of.
And here are Yoda and Mace faced with two men who they cast aside as too broken and likely to fall. Now shining in the force so brightly that is has cleared away shatterpoints and the ever encroaching sith influence.
And lots of days Obi-Wan is in too much pain to leave his bed and Anakin is so angry his aura rolls in like a thunderstorm darkening the very force around him. But thatâs okay because the force is not a power limited by emotion or trauma no matter what some religions may say.
donât trust adults whose favourite phrase is âdonât complain about it, life only gets worse from here onâ because thatâs bullshit.
they told me the same thing when i was 15 and 18 and 20 and honestly, l feel better NOW than iâve felt at 15, 18 or 20. ive got more control, more stability and more resilience.
this is jaded adults playing pain olympics and being dismissive to young people. as if whatever issues we are having now are undoubtedly microscopic in comparison to their Big Adult Problems. thatâs also bullshit.
if you are young and in a bad position and fucking TERRIFIED that it wonât get better bc old mcâfart said so, stop. you can gain control over your life, you can find help and find a better family and find yourself. your issues are not less because of your age so dont feel bad for feeling bad.
it can get better. your highschool years arent set-in-stone your best years. neither are your uni/college years. great, if they are!! but if they arent, donât lose hope thinking that it only goes downhill from here.
you can work on yourself, on your rships, and set a fertile soil for a better adulthood. those adults are only regurgitating the same old bullshit and trauma they got from their parents and elders, who got it from their parents and elders. cut this fucking chain.
My love for the scene where Wheeljack and Soundwave fight is just⊠I just⊠itâs the best. They animated their different fighting styles together so perfectly.Â

That cat was certainly an oddball, and I donât know what went wrong in hi head or with his nerves or both, but he hated his own tail.
He was an indoor cat, so when he presented for a cat bite abscess on his tail it was a bit suspicious, but he did live with another feline friend so it wasnât impossible, even though the owner had never seen them fight.
So we treated the abscess. And that was fine.
But then he got another abscess on his tail.
This was a bit suspicious, so he was admitted to treat it surgically. He was placed in a hospital cage while he was waiting his turn.
There is something unique about the sounds of a cat fight, and when that cacophony of noise erupted from the kennel room, we all rushed in to see how the hell two cats had got access to each other.
Instead, we found this cat, on his own, backed into a corner of the cage throwing an evil look at his own tail, which was twitching in irritation as catsâ tails tend to do.
We watched as he growled, hissed, spat and then launched at his own tail, and screamed after heâd bitten himself again.
The cat was giving himself cat bite abscesses from repeatedly attacking his own tail.
In the end, we couldnât curb this behavior even with medication, it was like he didnât recognise the tail as his own, and he ended up having it amputated for welfare reasons. With only a stump of a tail remaining (too short to flick in his peripheral vision), he went on to live a normal life.
I donât know if the cat had altered neurological sensation in his tail, or some sort of Body Integrity Identity Disorder, but he is one of the most unusual cases Iâd ever seen.
There is supposed a âbible studyâ group that is going around and handing out pamphlets with an address and asking for girlsâ number. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES GIVE THEM YOUR NUMBER OR GO TO THE ADDRESS ON THE PAMPHLET!! IT IS A TRAP TO LURE GIRLS INTO HUMAN TRAFFICKING!!!

So like please donât buy nautilus shells theyâre actually going extinct, largely because we kill them for their shells. Theyâre really cool little dudes but theyâre not recognized as endangered because we âdonât know enough about themâ, despite it being pretty clear to anyone who works with them, scientist or fisherman. Near nobody knows about this, so please be kind to these little guys and maybe spread the word?
