so he’s just drinking at a booth in the corner and feeling sorry for himself when he realizes that megatron has sat down next to him. megs is looking concerned (and also thinking ‘oh shit did minimus get smaller’). Part of Mins’s processor is panicking because oh god he’s being so unprofessional and Megatron can’t see him like this ohh nooooo

But outwardly he doesn’t react except for a slurred “oh hi mark Megatron”

Megatron is like “Minimus, is something.. wrong?”

Minimus says “what’d you mean???”

“Ah, well, I’ve never seen you drink so… heavily, before.”

For some reason, this seems to set Minimus off. Suddenly he sits up, plating puffed out like he’s trying to make himself seem bigger. He’s like “well maybe you jus’ don’ know me!!! I can drink!!! I can be fuh- I can be f-fun!!! I’ll show you! I’ll show ev’rybody!!” And he gets up on the table (Megatron is like “Minimus what are you doing stop”) and yells “HEY LOOK WHAT I CAN DO” 

and then he transforms into a dog

Now a new study looking at 400,000 youths from 88 countries around the world suggests such bans are making a difference in reducing youth violence. It marks the first systematic assessment of whether an association exists between a ban on corporal punishment and the frequency in which adolescents get into fights. 

[F]or both boys and girls, [prof. Elizabeth Gershoff] said, “We found [spanking] linked to more aggression, more delinquent behavior, more mental health problems, worse relationships with parents, and putting the children at higher risk for physical abuse from their parents.”

Depending on who you ask, the heartbeat bill is no joke. Gov. Kasich vetoed a similar measure in 2016 but now the republican senate has enough majority to potentially overturn a veto. Many republican lawmakers are hoping to use ohio to bring abortion back to the federal supreme court and overturn Roe v Wade. This is all in the last article I linked from the New York Times btw

So if the first article sounds too clickbait-y for you just know that ohio is actually proposing, and has a good chance of passing strict anti-abortion laws 🙃
