Please don’t pay for his music.

This is actually a sensationalist headline. It’s actually to keep paparazzi out of his property and give him some privacy. I don’t really give two shits about him or his music, but it’s shitty everyone is jumpin his ass over misreported bullshit.

Literally from the article:

“After details of his planning application were reported in April, Sheeran took aim at a tabloid newspaper, saying: ‘Your story is b——s, I have done lots of work in the past for Crisis and Shelter and would never build railings outside my home for that reason. The reason was to keep the paps that you employ from being on my doorstep.’”

Just your daily reminder that many journalists lack basic journalistic integrity and value clicks above everything else.

I have some emu bones that seem to have some dirt (or maybe grease?) staining. Any one know how to clean them up a bit?

If it’s grease, then water and dish soap will clean that right up after a few days! =D

Thanks! I think it’s mostly dirt and grease staining, so I’ll soak them for a few days and hopefully they’ll clean up a bit.

Soaking them in hydrogen peroxide (diluted) for awhile will bleach them gently and remove any germs. Be sure to rinse it thoroughly afterwards so as not to bleach it overly far.

Just a friendly reminder for your fitness journey: Your muscles do not grow during exercise. Exercise is only the stimulus. The body strengthens the muscles while you are resting.

So make sure that you give 100% with rest, just like you would give 100% exercising.

Along the same line, NOT resting will actually stunt your progress and can cause serious injury which will sideline you way longer than the day or so of rest you didn’t take. If you struggle with the concept of rest (like me), break up your workouts into muscle groups and rotate throughout the week. That way, you CAN workout everyday, but you won’t focus on the same muscles on consecutive days.

Exercise causes muscle fibers to tear. When you rest, your body repairs those fibers and adds more of them in an effort to prevent further tearing. The rest is a vital part, otherwise you’re just injuring yourself.

Look, your plastic straws are only a negligible contribution to oceanic plastic pollution. Japan has backed out of all of its clean energy goals since Fukushima and is importing thousands of tons of fossil fuels to make up for it. The lithium mining processes required to make your hybrid car make its environmental benefits basically nonexistent. Food waste has much more to do with governmental regulations on spoilage and consumer demand for cosmetically perfect produce than you forgetting about the kale in your vegetable crisper.

The world is made of complex problems and the simple answer basically only exists to make you feel good about yourself

in light of the Amazon strike, I wanted to offer some alternative online stores you can use INSTEAD OF Amazon for the upcoming months until the employees at Amazon are granted some basic common decency 🙂

rakuten.com – has nearly everything Amazon has

ebay.com – just be careful for scams!

newegg.com – for electronics/technology

emusic.com – music for as little as $1!! They also have a membership program where you can get music for even less!!

barnesandnoble.com – they have collectible items and childrens toys too!

This is great!

indiebound.org – books, and they make it easy to locate and purchase from local independent bookstores near you who Amazon would otherwise be putting out of business
