What do you think of Jeremy (something) River Monsters?

He’s an awesome dude who I would love to meet at some point. The show is still a bit more “teeth! fangs! deadliness!” dramatic than I’d prefer, but he isn’t, and I like how he’s always respectful of the local culture. Even when it means bathing in one of the most polluted rivers in the world. I also appreciate his reluctance to use live bait, and the fact that he’s as careful with the fish as is possible. 

He’s done with the show now, I imagine since his joints are probably just about shot, but he did a small series on extremely polluted rivers. Look it up, it’s horrifying but informative.
