Today, I am writing a scientific paper (albeit a short one) about the project some classmates and I are doing in lab for my scientific methods class. It’s about whether or not black tea decreases kidney stone formation, ft. fake kidney stones. We’re not sure yet, but we think it might, at least in our lab studies. 

Decided to try and write my parts of the paper outside. Started doing so next to the local turtle pond. Rain started. Am now under a giant concrete awning-thing. It’s cold. This is a decent place to write, though. My other choice was to go into one of the science buildings where there’s a fish tank (I assume there are many fish tanks, it’s just that I only know about two, and this is the closer one), but all the doors in there are locked because it’s 7pm and the start of Thanksgiving break. 

Anyway it’s cold outside and I’m sitting in a wheelchair, with a laptop, watching people not notice me and writing about fake kidney stones.
