A little unrelated to wasps and bees which are hella door btw but I have a beef with mosquitoes. I get huge welts from one or two bites any more than that and get a fever. 🤒

Majority of mozzies are ecologically significant and are important sources of food for marine animals, as well as some species also being pollinators for certain plants. There’s only a few hundred or so species that can even bite humans so mosquito-borne diseases are a worry with those. But besides that other species of mozzies are important. 

You’re having a very strong reaction to the anticoagulant in their bites, and you possibly have a notable allergy, judging by what seems to be an immune response. You in particular should try not to get bitten even harder than other people, because that allergy could become dangerous if it gets worse.
