Yeah, you’re much more likely to kill someone by cutting off blood flow than actual suffocation. An incorrectly placed choke hold can cause brain damage, so yeah, definitely more likely to be caused by lack of blood flow/oxygen than actual air
And even then, it takes more than 30 seconds to cause serious damage, let alone kill someone. Heck, people can be OK after their heart stops for something like 2 minutes. It’s not good for you, but someone isn’t going to be DEAD.
