If you can get close enough I would use a fishing net, otherwise food in a live trap might work.
Honestly, the old “stick on a string propping up a box with food underneath” thing that kids try sometimes would probably work.
Any advice on how to catch an escaped show pigeon? There’s this really lovely Dutch Tumbler that has been frequenting my house and is obviously a little lost. Not too afraid of people, but has a healthy caution of hands. I would just like to try to return him to his people if possible, and if not at least get him back in captivity.
