Weirder questions? No, not even close my friend.
I do actually know nurses who have sampled the dog or cat treats. The less juicy meats ones, anyway. And the general consensus seems to be that firstly, they usually taste how they smell, and secondly that if you are going to eat a pet treat, see if anyone will pay you to do it ‘on a dare’.
Apparently the blueberry greenies are alright? But I can’t confirm that for myself. There are a bunch that are perfectly edible for humans, even if they’re not aimed for out palates.
I have to say, I love how Anon assumed this would be ‘one of the weirder questions’ yet the comments are full of dog and cat treats that other people have already eaten, and their thoughts on the taste.
I mean, I doubt most of them would hurt somebody to eat. They probably mostly aren’t human-grade, but unless something’s seriously wrong with your immune system, one bite should be fine. There’s worse things to taste.
