BIG FUCKING MOOD

These little guys tend to be aggressive because people treat them like toys. Pick ‘em up and hold them and carry them around as accessories, regardless of what they try to do. When an animal is held and carried and not put down when it wants to be, trapped in the air when it’s uneasy, you get a very stressed animal that thinks the only way it can be listened to at all is by biting and barking. The owner goes “oh isn’t that cute!” because the upset animal is small and making high-pitched noises, and the biting isn’t corrected, nor are the signals of “I’m afraid of this” listened to at all. 

Bodily autonomy is important for animals too.
