Cats like liquids, and the beer probably smells interesting. Plus, anything that humans show interest in is generally of more interest to cats than things that humans ignore. It’s an interesting-smelling liquid that the human clearly places value on, and the kitten isn’t allowed to taste the beer and that probably only makes her want to taste it even more. Pretty standard cat stuff.
I always liked Roger from 101 Dalmatians because I admire a person who, when faced with someone they dislike that’s invading their space, just aggressively plays jazz instruments at them until they leave.
