this is fake news don’t EVER disrespect pepper like this

Didn’t he, like, canonically get pegged by gamora too lmaooooooo

Yes

Wait this was pegging? I HAD NO IDEA LIKE I WAS SO INTO THIS TONY GAMORA PANEL ALREADY AND NOW IT IS LIKE 5000000000000000 TIMES BETTER. AJSKALAKKAKAA.

I saw this and went: “Hang on now… I remember reading that. I did NOT think they were pegging.” Then I dug it out and had a closer look:

Panel two, bottom left corner — that is definitely a strap-on harness. This whole thing makes so much more sense now. I cannot believe I didn’t see that before.

Damn Gamora. Fierce.

That’s my fucking boy

Wolf eels- Grandpa

Green morays- Grandma

See those lil guys on the second eel? Neon gobies! They perch on larger fish sometimes, and occasionally exhibit cleaning behaviors where they pick parasites off of said larger fish. Any saltwater fish with blue and back lengthwise stripes is either a cleaner fish (see: cleaner wrasse), a part-time cleaner, or impersonating a cleaner.

I have an idea for how to accomplish FTL travel: we somehow harness the terrifying d incomprehensible speed and power with which my dumpy tree frogs lunge for their meals. There is no reason why an organic being should be able to move that fast! It’s either superspeed or teleportation.

I see your frogs and raise you crested geckos.

I am convinced that they are some form of supersonic hobgoblin.

BENJAMIN FRANKLIN AND JOHN ADAMS ONCE HAD TO SHARE A BED IN A CROWDED INN, AND SPENT A CONSIDERABLE AMOUNT OF TIME ARGUING OVER WHETHER OR NOT THE WINDOW SHOULD REMAIN OPEN DURING THE NIGHT, AND WHETHER AN OPEN WINDOW WAS A HEALTHIER WAY TO SLEEP OR A SUREFIRE WAY TO GET SICK.

I wonder who was of which opinion

FRANKLIN WANTED THE WINDOW OPEN, ADAMS WANTED IT CLOSED.

I wonder who won.

FRANKLIN, BY TOTAL KNOCKOUT. HE KEPT EXPLAINING WHY FRESH AIR IS ACTUALLY GOOD FOR THE BODY UNTIL ADAMS GOT BORED AND FELL ASLEEP, ALLOWING FRANKLIN TO DO AS HE PLEASED RE: THE WINDOW.

I looked this up and it is 100% true.

didn’t franklin also take WIND BATHS where he’d just strip down and go stand on a hill in the wind or something

THAT WAS ONE OF FRANKLIN’S FAVORITE EXCUSES TO GET NAKED, YEAH

Awesome dnd sesh today! We’re part of a big chaotic assault on a shadowfell prison that’s holding my paladin’s deity, lots of pushing forward + fighting demons, very little rest. Our wizard is pretty much dried up on spellslots and polymorphed into a giant ape to be useful. He’s carrying the party around the outside of this fortress, throwing demon ballistas all over the place, it’s the good stuff.

a merm design from over on patreon. This strikingly patterned lady belongs to a race of merms that function kind of like siphonophorae. Their bodies are actual communities of smaller creatures, each one with a function so specific that it would die on its own.

this is such a gorgeous concept and i’m in a writing mood, here’s some mini-fiction:

Laurie and I stared dumbstruck through the submersible’s bubble window. A translucent paw caressed the plastic dome with tender curiosity, her-their delicate face leaning close to watch us in return. Every deep sea horror story I’ve ever read or watched on a screen had told me that an experience like this would be one of mind-bending fear; it hadn’t prepared me for the possibility that I’d be taken with instantaneous love, the same awe-mixed adoration that had struck Saint Teresa in her cell.

I see you, we see you, said a voice that I did not hear, and beside me I felt Laurie tremble.

There was a question. You are each only one?

“Yes,” I said aloud, and I didn’t dare take my eyes away from her-their serene expression. The mermaid’s body billowed behind her-them in the soft current, brightly-colored organs wrapped in a transparent robe of flesh.

You must be lonely, said the voice in sweet intimacy with my thoughts, If only you were like me, like us. You would never be lonely again.

an excellent addition, thank you so much! i like the hyphenated pronouns and the slightly unsettling implications of the last sentence.

i wonder what she-they thinks the submersible is? a shell? this crew must seem like the most interesting giant mollusc in the world.
