that huge misinfo post that you corrected on the bee thing, they were like “there are many resources you can use to start your transition” (into being vegan) idk if op meant to compare being trans to being vegan but it wasn’t good wording on their part

zoologicallyobsessed:

To be honest if you use transition / transitioning for an identity that isn’t trans then you’re a transphobe and I’ll fight you on sight.

“Transition” doesn’t necessarily mean as in transitioning, it just means “change”. I fully agree with the above, except that they genuinely could have just meant as in change.

Hi Dr Ferox! I saw this guy today and thought you might be interested – he’s got 3 legs! I didn’t see it til he flew away, but you can see it in the zoomed in photo!

It’s still hard for me to see, but it doesn’t seem to have slowed the fellow down at all.

That is really cool! You don’t often see a perfectly functioning animal with an abnormal number of limbs in the wild. He looks healthy.

Straight people are going on Grindr to make gay best friends

It might seem strange for heterosexual men and women to use one of the largest gay dating apps out there, but many have turned to the app for something other than sex: platonic friendship. Perhaps unsurprisingly, some gay men are not happy about this. Why one straight woman designated herself as a “twink” instead of a “jock.”

Str8s:

I like to imagine one person got interviewed after his girlfriend caught him with Grindr and was like “babe I’m looking for a gay best friend” and she was like “that’d make an interesting article” and the lie went too far
