My laptop cable, which has been bent rather severely near the point where it plugs into the laptop, gave up the ghost rather spectacularly. That is, it bent one degree further, sparked vigorously, and caught fire for about half a second. I’m fine, and I’ve got a new charge cable coming in, but it won’t be here until tomorrow- probably the evening. In the interest of conserving laptop battery, I won’t be on much until the cable comes in.
