except at the time, i was knee-deep in dirty hydra politicians i’d just murdered, inside a high-security vault where they’d fled to escape me (didn’t work) and i was 100% sure i was the only living person in the room. 

so when she politely tapped me on the shoulder and said ‘hi’ i was understandably alarmed. 

also, she once said “give clint that bomb. he’s responsible, he can handle it.”
