I use “themself”.
“Themself” technically isn’t a word, but neither is “them” technically applicable to a single person. Languages and grammar are malleable. Use “themself”.
I’m writing a short story with a non binary protagonist. But I’m not sure which sentence is correct, grammatically. “They couldn’t bring themselves to enter town” vs “They couldn’t bring theirself to enter town” got any tips? I’m iffy on the diffy.
