Cats have gram negative bacteria in their saliva, and it gets all over them when they groom. This bacteria is EXTREMELY DEADLY to birds, small mammals, and yes, reptiles too. It’s even dangerous for us, and that bacteria is why cat scratches are such nasty things to deal with.

Even if the cat means no harm, it could easily kill that bearded dragon. I wouldn’t be surprised if it already has, honestly. The tiniest scratch, even accidental, will cause a deadly infection. Oh this is so so bad. Even just getting that bacteria on a reptile’s skin is very very very dangerous.

This is not cute. This is not good. This is animal abuse, this is endangering an animal’s life for a “cute” video.
