My favorite part of the “Starfire needs to be naked to absorb sunlight for her powers” justification is the implication that just the sunlight she could absorb through her head or hands isn’t enough, which THEN leads to the implication that Starfire is so reliant on sunlight that she’d fall over powerless if it was slightly overcast or you threw a blanket on her head
