You are not a failure if you have to rehome your bird.

Birds are really hard to take care of and sometimes your lifestyle cant support addequate care. Rehoming your bird does not mean you failed as a pet owner. recognizing you could no longer provide the necessary time and dedication makes you a very good pet owner, as people who fail to understand they are not providing for their birds but keep them anyway are just making themselves and their pets miserable. Give birds second chances, even if its not with you. Learn to recognize realisticlly what you can and can’t do, and that its not your fault if you can’t provide. You are amazing for recognizing that and doing something about it.
