I was just in the living room with my mom, talking about Starbound and watching it rain. 

When I sat down, the sky was dark grey, it was dreary and dark outside, and it was raining lightly. 

A couple minutes later, everything abruptly went much brighter, the sky turned white, and a MASSIVE clap of thunder heralded a huge downpour of rain.

Not a minute after that, the rain vanished, to be replaced by hail. Hard, fast, pea-sized hail. For about 20 seconds. 

Then it was raining like crazy again and the hail was gone. 

That’s a Texas storm for you. A week’s worth of weather changes in less than 10 minutes.
