This is the evolution of my kenyan sand boa’s tank over a 3 month period. I bought her about three months ago. Her name is pixil! She is now almost 6 months old.
I would love it if anyone could give me idea on what to add or change for enrichment purposes.

I want to move her to one of those front opening tanks hopefully by spring, but right now my priority is improving my leopard gecko tanks a bit more and getting pixil to eat more regularly. And at her size I feel like being able to find her so I can feed her is probably important.

I will share my gecko tanks after I switch them to tile flooring!

(Ignore the accidental advertisement of pixil’s breeder.)

These are lovely! I’m always so happy to see burrowing species being offered above ground enrichment instead of barren tanks. Maybe the sand boa tag can give you some ideas. It’s not very long, but the enclosures included are beautiful 🙂

Smelly things are always good. Not something that’ll fill the entire enclosure with scent, just something that smells weird and interesting for her to investigate, swapped out regularly. A used sock, a rock from outside, a fork, anything you can think of that might have unfamiliar scents.
