Pandas are a Money sink and amphibians as a whole are a far more dire issue not getting enough attention, but it’s important to note one of the primary reasons panda conservation hasn’t been successful is that the majority of the money is going into captive breeding (which like many species Pandas do not do well for) and marketing shit as opposed to habitat conservation. A large chunk of frog species that are endangered rn have the exact same issue as pandas and are niche, stress sensitive critter living in a tiny range. Pollution and parasites (whether it be worms or fungus) are the more global spread out threats to amphibians, but even in a hopeful future where we get out shit under control and somehow eradicate  Chytridiomycosis keeping all those habitats intact is gonna be a hard ball game
