It’s fucked up that the internet’s most well known tegu lizard is obese and poorly cared for yet the owners insistence that he’s normal for his species has convinced thousands of fans who just don’t know better that the way it looks and how they care for it like it’s a dog rather than a lizard that has specific humidity, dietary, etc. requirements that aren’t being sufficiently met is cool.
