Rez Natives deserve basic amenities

Rez Natives deserve basic amenities

Rez Natives deserve basic amenities

  • REZ NATIVES DESERVE BASIC AMENITIES
  1. REZ
  2. NATIVES
  3. DESERVE
  4. BASIC
  5. AMENITIES

and they honestly deserve it WITHOUT having to relocate themselves, their family, and their WHOLE community.

Or neglecting part of their identity or culture

Or being judged for taking money or resources they are already owed.

from a friend in northern ontario. $43 for shitty mass produced muffins that cost $6 down south/in the city

here, have some wilted asparagus at the cheapest low quality grocery story

1 Kilo = 2.2 Lbs

$43.49 CA = $35.29 US

$30.49 CA = $24.74 US

Miijidaa!

Let’s eat yo!

A gallon of milk (while most of us are lactose intolerant it’s apparently the standard for cost of living) in Barrow currently sits at $10.29.

Who the fuck let it get this bad? That’s shameful, that price difference is fucking bullshit.

Our very governments, along with ignorance of the populous. And it’s not just food either, many Native Americans lack access to what many non-natives consider basic amenities: Feminine hygiene products (1) , electricity (3), clean water and plumbing (4,5) , basic healthcare (2), to which even then many Natives are treated poorly or even denied treatment on the few hospitals nearby (6)

This doesn’t even highlight all of the ethical problems and injustices we face.

Here’s that sign telling Natives not to ask for anesthetics, found in Miramichi, New Brunswick. People are afraid that we’ll get “addicted” to them, hah.

OP is @rihxharry
