I hate when people in movies need to make themselves bleed, so they cut open their palms. Excuse me?! You’re gonna need that! You’ve got blood everywhere and there are way easier places to bandage. Don’t injure the single part of your body you are capable of holding a weapon with.

Are you okay friend? Better question why are these folks using their blood?

You name it. Attracting monsters? Performing rituals? Summoning demons? Making blood pacts? All kinds of reasons. I’m just saying that your palm is an awful place to do it if you plan on using your hand at all for any reason in the near future, even if it’s symbolically reminiscent of stigmata.

And if you know in advance you’ll need blood, learn how to do a blood draw on yourself. It can’t be that hard. 

Dumb cultists gotta learn how to bleed properly. Otherwise you’re gonna have everyone in town like “okay, so there’s a secret cult making blood sacrifices? let’s look at all the people who are covered in cuts constantly”
