Do you think a 30g hex would be good for a crested gecko? I want to get one from a show but im worried if it’s too big for a baby

I think a 30g hex tank would probably make a great home! Hex tanks make the most beautiful display enclosures too, so nice. It might be a little big for a baby though. I’ve heard the little ones tend to do better in smaller enclosures for a while. You could buy a cheap plastic tub to turn into a temporary, grow-out enclosure though 🙂 It’d only cost you a few bucks and they’re very easy to modify.

It should be a great display. I’d suggest a big stump or bundle of branches to add plenty of height, cresties climb, but that’s a great shape and size. 

Grab a storage tub from the store and make a baby enclosure, get the plants grown in while your baby grows up, and then put your grown bab in a nice big tank.
