I was reading through Indiana’s reptile and amphibian regulations and the requirements for keeping wild snakes, frogs, and turtles as pets. You need a valid fishing or hunting license to collect and keep them, but what struck me was that you’re allowed to keep a maximum of eight snapping turtles at once, provided they are over a foot in length. That’s… that’s so much snapping turtle. Who the fuck would keep eight fully-grown giant-ass snapping turtles as pets? I want to meet them.

It’s a more dangerous version of a piranha tank of death, since piranha are lil cowards.
