Is this you as a dog (minus the extra optics/limbs)? It sure looks like you. The animal pictured is a Black and Tan Sloughi with a mask. What a beauty! Boy, you’re pretty. And smart, too! I hope things get better for you.

There do appear to be some frametype similarities, yes. The face is too squishy, though, even for an organic. I rather enjoy the countershading, at least.

And, why- thank you. I do try. In particular, I keep myself fastidiously clean. Self-respect looks much better than polish, I think. 

I am not certain what you mean about things getting “better”, though. I am doing rather well at the moment. “Better” would be ideal, but is not needed. Have I done something to indicate otherwise?
